Dr. Troum has been a guest speaker at three major flute conferences in Chicago, New York, and Orlando on cultivating a positive environment between the instructor and the training musician.
Experience? Dr. Troum was a flute clinician for Seminole County Public Schools and an undergraduate applied flute instructor at the University of South Florida in Tampa, Florida during her doctoral program.

Many of Dr. Troum's Private Flute Lessons in her Maitland, Florida Studio are for clientele who live in Maitland, Casselberry, Fern Park, Winter Park, Oviedo, Longwood, Altamonte Springs, Apopka, and Lake Mary.

Sheet music: Purchased by student, following audition.
Frequency: Weekly lessons are recommended for progress and consistency.
Payment terms: Payment is due in full on the last lesson of the month for the month in advance.
Lesson Schedule: You will receive a “Flute Lesson Invoice” by email prior to the final lesson of each month. It is your responsibility to inform me of any changes to the lesson schedule printed on the invoice at the time of your payment. Any changes to the lesson schedule, following your payment, will be subject to the lesson cancellation policy printed herein.
Cancellations: No credits, refunds or make-up lessons are issued when lessons are cancelled by the student/parent, following the monthly payment. The lesson schedule for the month is confirmed and my time reserved for your child at the time of your monthly payment.
Illness: Students will not be permitted to attend their scheduled lesson if they are ill nor are make-up lessons issued due to student illness.
Additional Lessons: Any additional lessons, other than those scheduled, must be paid in full at the time of service.
